Performance Accompaniment

Since leaving music college I have always been drawn to the role of the accompanist. I enjoy the experience of helping a soloist bring their performance to life and take pride in providing the best supporting role I possibly can.

My musical background is eclectic and as a result I am equally happy to read traditional notation, chords symbols, or to work by ear with a soloist in collaborative fashion. So if you need accompaniment for a solo at a wedding, or any other event or performance, just get in touch.

Exam Recording

If you'd prefer to submit your exam via the recorded options now available for many exam boards, I have a sound-proofed rehearsal space with a baby-grand piano perfect for making recordings, whether for an exam or for any other purpose.

All-round exam preparation

Often over-looked, but still a crucial part of most examinations, are the aural and sight-reading tests. I can provide guidance in these areas and submit candidates to a 'mock' exam session to help them prepare for what to expect.

Exam Accompaniment

I have over 15 years experience playing for music grade exams with all the major exam boards. This includes classical, jazz and musical theatre syllabuses and through the full range of levels (Grades 1-8).

Exams need not be a stressful experience and I have been complemented many times on my ability to keep the situation a relaxed and enjoyable one. Fixed rate prices for exam accompaniment currently start at £45.
